WHERE EXACTLY IS BUDGALONG LOCATED?

You will find Budgalong Spicers Creek only 20-25 minutes from the centre of Wellington and 40-45 minutes from both Mudgee and Dubbo. We are also just over 4 hours from Sydney and Newcastle. There are 3.6kms of dirt/gravel roads through the beautiful countryside. It is a council-maintained road, 2WD accessible in all weather conditions and the dirt road is all part of the adventure and sense of escape. Exact details of how to get there are emailed to you before your stay, however, if you have any questions regarding access then please get in touch. 

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT?

Check-in at all tents is 3pm and check-out is 11am. However, if you wish to check-in/out at an alternative time just contact explore@budgalongspicerscreek.com.au.

HOW MANY TENTS DO YOU HAVE?

We have two beautiful architecturally designed tents for you to choose from, all of which are envisioned as a luxury getaway for family and friends to connect with nature and one another. All our tents are isolated offering complete privacy and have spectacular views. HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN STAY IN THE TENT AT ONE TIME?

Each tent has two bedrooms, so can comfortably sleep two couples or four friends.

WILL MY STAY BE AFFECTED BY THE WEATHER?

We have built the tents to be as comfortable as possible in all weather conditions. However, due to the nature of glamping accommodation – strong winds and rain can affect the tents more than a brick-and-mortar building. Being perched high on mountains with spectacular views, it can go from the dead still to extremely windy and anything in-between, which is completely out of our control.  The tents are incredibly sturdy and have been reinforced to withstand cyclonic winds – which have never been experienced in our area. Each of our tents have warm blankets, hot water bottles and are insulated, and watertight – it’s all part of the adventure.

CAN I BRING CHILDREN AND PETS?

Budgalong Spicers Creek is family-friendly and encourages guests to share the experience with loved ones. However, Budgalong does not cater for children under the age of 10.

Due to the amount of wildlife residing at Budgalong Spicers Creek, it is not suitable for any pets.

CAN I COOK FOR MYSELF DURING MY STAY?

Absolutely. All our tents have BBQs and kitchens with gas stoves and ovens. There is also a 125L fridge in each tent.

HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY TO GET THE BEST EXPERIENCE?

The ultimate stay is 3 nights. This allows for a variety of weather and experiences.
