Following the success of our inaugural Fire Feast in 2024, we were thrilled to gather again in 2025 to celebrate good food, good company and the incredible produce of our region.

This year’s Budgalong Fire Feast took place beneath a marquee on the property, bringing guests together around shared tables while still embracing the same paddock-to-plate philosophy that inspired the first event. Hosted by Budgalong Lodge in collaboration with Terra Firma Dining, the long lunch once again celebrated local produce, open-fire cooking and the community that surrounds us.

Dining at Budgalong is about more than just food — it’s about a sense of place. Inspired by the farm and the local landscape, the Fire Feast creates an opportunity for family, friends and neighbours to gather, slow down and share a meal that reflects the land it comes from.

Guests enjoyed an open-fire cooking experience, with local produce prepared over hot coals and flames — a simple style of cooking that lets the ingredients speak for themselves.
